BEGINS.

The Wrangler begins as a single sheet of densely compacted dark brown wool felt — each fiber pressed through heat and moisture until the material becomes dense, water-resistant, and quietly resilient. The deep chocolate tone is saturated through the full thickness of the felt, not merely dyed onto the surface.

The crown is hand-embossed with a delicate floral vine pattern — flowers and scrolling leaves pressed into the felt by hand, a detail that rewards close looking. Around the base, a full-grain leather band carries an engraved brass buckle shaped like a horseshoe, its surface etched with stars and scrollwork. Two natural feathers, held by a brass feather clip, complete the silhouette.

This is a hat for the long trail — for compass readings and campfire smoke, for wildflowers pressed between pages and the quiet signal of a brass whistle across an open range. It does not announce itself. It simply belongs.

DETAIL 01

Engraved Brass Buckle & Leather Band

A full-grain leather band in deep brown, stitched with contrasting tan thread. The buckle is cast in solid antique brass and shaped like a horseshoe — its surface hand-engraved with five-pointed stars and scrolling vine motifs, a tribute to the western saddle-maker's craft.

Hand-Embossed Floral Crown

The crown is hand-embossed with a delicate floral vine pattern — five-petal flowers and scrolling leaves pressed into the dense wool felt by hand. The embossing creates a subtle shadow play that shifts with the light, a detail that rewards close looking and sets this hat apart from plain felt styles.

DETAIL 03

Natural Feathers & Brass Clip

Two natural feathers — one deep brown, one cream with soft brown markings — are held by a solid brass feather clip. The clip itself is engraved with a feather motif and mounted on an ornate base, securing the feathers to the leather band. Each feather is unique, making every hat subtly one of a kind.

SCENE I

Iron and Gunpowder

An engraved brass cartridge box, its lid etched with a longhorn skull. A leather bullet belt loaded with brass-capped rounds. The Wrangler beside the tools of the range — quiet, capable, unhurried.

SCENE II

Beauty in the Dust

A dried wildflower, its petals pale and fragile, resting beside the embossed floral crown. A coil of rusted wire, a few fallen leaves. The Wrangler carries both the hardness of the trail and the softness of what grows along it.

SCENE III

A Call Across the Range

A brass signal whistle, its surface worn and patinated, hung from a braided leather lanyard. The feathers of the Wrangler catch the light beside it — a quiet signal, a presence noted across the open range.
